THE TOWERS OF KUBLAI KHAN by Daniel P. McDermott
In the year 1215 was born Kublai Khan,
grandson of the first Great Khan - Genghis,
conquerer of much of the world.
Kublai Khan ascended the throne of the
Mongols in 1620. Much of Asia was under his
control.
Kublai Khan's lavish court in Beijing was
visited by many Europeans, including the
traveler, Marco Polo.
Kublai Khan spent much of his time playing a
game with three towers and blocks. While the
game seemed simple, it took skill to complete
the puzzle quickly.
Today, the rule of the Mongols is forever gone.
All that remains is the game.
------
Instructions:
The object of the game is to move all of the blocks from the first
tower to the third.
Move the blocks, one at a time, using a mouse or the numbers 1, 2,
and 3 on your keyboard.
The catch: You can't put a block on top of a smaller block!
The game may seem tricky at first, but you'll soon get the hang
of it.
If you get frustrated, remember:
... the Mongols weren't conquered in a day!
